So I survived the first day back ( well it was just Croke Park hours)! I always have trouble sleeping the night before we return to work after the summer and last night was no different. I spent the night tossing and turning and checking the time on my alarm clock. I always like to plan out my first week and not just my school plans but also what I'm going to do in the evenings. I have put together a few tips to keep you from burning out in the first week back. A lot of them will seem like common sense but it is surprising how many people forget to do them.
Whether you are an NQT or not make sure to look after yourself. If you start the year well then you will hopefully continue it throughout the year. Best of luck to everyone starting back to school this week :)
